The Houston Symphony Chorus Endowment was established in 1997 to celebrate the Chorus' 50th anniversary. Thanks to the generosity of Chorus members, alumni and friends, it has grown steadily, providing support for a variety of activities that have enhanced Houston's choral life and contributed to the high musical level of the all-volunteer Chorus. Projects partly funded by the Endowment have included our a cappella CD, Voices of the Symphony, and a performance of Mendelssohn’s great oratorio, St Paul.
